Valerie San Filippo is a writer and educator from Long Island, New York. She received her MFA in Fiction from Stony Brook University. She is the Education Program Manager for Brink Literacy Project, where she creates writing and comic curricula, and teaches storytelling. She currently lives in Denver.

 

Her fiction and poetry has appeared in PANK, F(r)iction, TSROnline,  Noble / Gas Qtrly, and others. She is a recipient of George R.R. Martin's Miskatonic Scholarship, and is a graduate of the Odyssey Writing Workshop.
